Your 2025 UEFA Champions League semifinal quartet is set. In one corner, it’s Barcelona v. Inter Milan. In the other, it’s Paris Saint-Germain against…whoever emerged victorious in the Real Madrid – Arsenal tie, which had the Gunners up 3-nil after the opening leg last week in No. London. The Madrilenos would need to score at least four more goals than The Arsenal this evening at The Bernabeu. That did not happen, with The Arsenal actually increasing their aggregate margin, 5-1, after tonight’s 2-1 away win. So, then, it’s your No. London Arse completing the 2025 UEFA Champions League semifinal brackets. The night’s first goal can be seen at the 6:30 mark, with the clincher coming at 10:06. #COYG Come on, you Gunners!

Hey! How ya’ doin’ over there? Well, that’s good!

Palm Sunday now, not even 24 hrs. after the First Night of The Passover — now you know springtime is upon us. And, as we do, every year on this important day on the Church’s liturgical calendar, we remind you of the always-relevant-at-this-time-of-the-year so-called Greatest Album Ever Made, 1984’s Ocean Rain, by Echo & The Bunnymen. Next year…in the chorus? Hoo-boy. There are perhaps six or seven regular curiosity-seekers of this here Web log, and some of them are of the Judaic religious tradition — who knew! Been a bit warm here at the end of your workweek, and that included yesterday, which was a lovely, sunny day for some tennis at the public courts here in beautiful downtown Studio City. Yes, the snobs prefer stroking their racquets at the private clubs with the other snobs, but those discerning hackers will not be able to engage in hitting without a shirt on. Which, on a borderline-hot morning or afternoon, might not be worth the initiation fees & monthly dues!
