AMERI-AMERI-AMERI-AMERI-AMERICAN!
Sorry for the sporadic coverage of late. Lots of (too many!) social-butterfly occasions to attend over the past few days; like an I-405-at-Friday-afternoon-rush-hour bottleneck of these celebrations & ceremonies all deciding to take place during the same calendar week — insane & spiritually draining! Nevertheless, here are some Sunday results for yourself…
At Albuquerque, it was #7 Ruby’s Hot Lips (.203 Win Prob / 3.93-1 Fair Odds / 4.91-1 Premium Odds) kissing her rivals goodbye in Race 2 at $24.80. Next race there, #5 Forty Five (.146 / 5.85 / 7.22) was a certified hit at $18.40.
#1 Stylish Gent (.324 / 2.09 / 2.61) dressed them down in Fort Erie, Ont., Race 2 at $12-even.
In Race 9 from Hallandale Beach, Fla., #6 Classy Beach (.307 / 2.26 / 2.81) told the rest of the field to go pound sand at $10.20.
The Laurel, Md., opener went to #4 Forrest City (.195 / 4.13 / 5.00) at $22.20. In the seventh there, #8 Hark Theangelssing (.193 / 4.18 / 5.22) sprouted wings and landed in the winner’s circle at $24.40.
#1 Grouch (.227 / 3.41 / 4.15) won Race 5 from Oceanport, N.J., for Oscar & Groucho at $10-even.
Arcadia, Calif.’s opener had #8 Taking a Joy Ride (.151 / 5.62 / 7.28) leading to Victory Lane at $17.80.
