Starting for a change in The Land of Enchantment, New Mexico, at the track bearing the name of that state’s most-populous city, Albuquerque, where #3 Sports Idol (.413 / 1.42 / 1.91) won the Race 5 Thoroughbred opener for Shohei Ohtani, Patrick Mahomes, LeBron James & Connor McDavid at $10.20; completing your winning $22.20 exacta was #5 Jmark (.392 / 1.55 / 2.06), with the premium price on that comboa (comboa!) being $11.68.

The Big Fresno Fair opener was numbered as a conventional Race 1 and won by #4 Doris Avenue (.779 / 0.28 / 0.54), the best of the experienceds in a field lousy with first-timers at $3.80. In Race 4, #6 Galland de Besos (.208 / 3.81 / 5.73) and #2 Coastal Kid (.245 / 3.08 / 3.90) combined on your winning $64.60 exacta whose premium price was $56.15.

At Hallandale Beach, Fla., #7 Light Fury (.157 / 5.37 / 7.92) was sufficiently bright & composed in Race 8 at $24.20.

In Race 7 from Lexington, Ky., the lineup was lousy with first-timers, and #4 Built (.486 / 1.06 / 1.88) won it for the Old Guard at $6.08.

The Laurel, Md., opener had #11 Incinerator (.381 / 1.62 / 2.15) and #8 One Way Traffic (.376 / 1.66 / 2.19) combining on your winning $17-even exacta whose premium price was $13.71. Next race there, #4 Flinny Tin Tin (.294 / 2.40 / 3.08) won it for all the puns derived from the names of canine cinema stars at $12.80; your winning $55.60 daily double had a premium price of $25.70.
