Sunday!

Gratuitous Horse Racing Tweet of Your Day:

Good outcome…

BestLine Racing Society Recap:

A couple of post-press-time connections to report from last night’s (Saturday’s) late action. At Collinsville, Ill., #1 Comfort Me Now (.370 Win Prob / 1.70-1 Fair Odds / 2.24-1 Premium Odds) provided no such thing to her Race 4 rivals at $9.80. At Altoona, Iowa, your Race 10 finale had #5 Jupiter Mission (.252 / 2.97 / 3.76) touching-down in the winner’s circle at $16-even; completing your winning $50.60 exacta was #2 Rays Big Dream (.256 / 2.91 / 3.69), with the premium price on that comboa (comboa!) being $35.26.

As for today (Sunday), some of your races went like this…

Starting today with the Closing Day card from Del Mar, Calif., specifically in Race 9, which #1 Artislas (.147 / 5.80 / 7.16) won at $17.20.

The Auburn, Wash., opener had #3 Benny Buckets (.462 / 1.16 / 1.60) making the winning shot at $8.80.

#8 She Prospers (.134 / 6.46 / 9.45) made sure her backers did so too, upsetting Race 9 from Hallandale Beach, Fla., at $79-even.

The Stickney, Ill., opener was lousy with first-timers, so the best of your experienceds, #6 Journey (.728 / 0.37 / 0.65) won it for Arnel Pineda at $4.60.

The Laurel, Md., opener went to #4 Tirupati (.339 / 1.95 / 2.54), who won it for Andhra Pradesh, India, at $7.60. In Race 5, #1 Paradise Wins (.156 / 5.41 / 6.69) won it for heaven at $20-even.

Race 3 at New Cumberland, W.Va., went to #1 Fivefive Six Champ (.532 / 0.88 / 1.26) at $6-even.

To Oceanport, N.J., for Race 7, in which #1 Tap It Up (.210 / 3.76 / 4.71) couldn’t be kept down at $20.20; completing your winning $197.60 exacta was #7 Queen Tapiture (.133 / 6.52 / 9.53), with the premium price on that comboa (comboa!) being $99.19.

In Race 7 in action out of Altoona, Iowa, #2 Orphan Sandy (.562 / 0.78 / 1.14) found a home on Victory Lane at $5-even. Next race there, #6 Five Charlie (.575 / 0.74 / 1.09) procured the fife whiskey at $4.40; your winning $13.20 daily double had a premium price of $8.94.

Ending as we often do with Etobicoke Int’l., whose Race 2 found #4 Quite Ready (.316 / 2.16 / 2.80) running to that billing at $7.80. In Race 8, #7 Hurricane Clair (.203 / 3.93 / 5.90) blew to the wire first at $16.40.

BestLine Racing Society Nightcap:

Unfortunately — or maybe fortunately! — at this late hour we are unable to present this usual feature. Regrets! Or maybe congratulations! Only The Shadow Knows!
