To Oldsmar, Fla., for Race 8, in which #9 Roadrunner the Cat (.293 / 2.41 / 3.10) and #8 Country Economics (.180 / 4.56 / 6.78) combined on your winning $66.40 exacta whose premium price was $48.23.
At Laurel, Md., #1 Grammy Girl (.355 / 1.82 / 2.38) won Race 3 for Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift et al. at $9.20.
Race 9 on the Hallandale Beach, Fla., card went to #7 Beth’s Dream (.270 / 2.70 / 3.44) at $8.80; granted, this was 8¢ shy of the $8.88 premium price, but perhaps you decided to sacrifice that octad of centavos upon the altar of the God of Doing Business via the Parimutuels — we report, you decide!
In the Ozone Park opener, #5 Leave No Trace (.240 / 3.17 / 4.83) left the others to race for place at $13.40.
Over to Hot Springs, Ark., for #1 Lady Moscato (.490 / 1.04 / 1.45) winning a Race 9 lousy with first-timers at $8.80.
Finally, from Arcadia, Calif., it was #6 Roberta’s Love (.612 / 0.63 / 0.96) showing his rivals none of that in a Race 6 lousy with first-timers at $10-even.
