Getting down to the business-end of the 2023-24 Premiership season now, and three teams remain alive in the title run-in. One of them is your No. London Arse, who today had an unexpectedly tense match against visiting Brentford. The Arse were in command for the entire first half, but a howler from ’keeper Aaron Ramsdale gifted Brentford an equalizer just before the break. Then the Gunners spent the first 40 mins. of the second half unleashing the full force of their vaunted offense, wave after wave, until, finally, the stubborn Brentford defense had no answer for Kai Havertz’s headed goal, which proved to the matchwinner, in the 85th min. So today’s video lede, the first 5 secs. actually, is dedicated to you, Kai Havertz, and the chant that has provided Gooners the world over with such unbridled joy. #COYG
