At Grantville, Penna., #2 Wild Vine (.400 / 1.50 / 2.00) bore fruit in Race 2 at $13.40; completing your winning $27-even exacta was #6 Timely Prospect (.209 / 3.78 / 4.74), with the premium price on that comboa (comboa!) being $22.96.
Today it was Gulf, Laurel, Fair Grounds, Oaklawn, Santa Anita, Golden Gate & Turfway — a bonus seventh track! Break-up The BestLine Racing Society! Out-of-control!
Starting at Hallandale Beach, Fla., and Race 2 there; in it, #2 This Dude a Breeze (.149 / 5.71 / 7.05) blew into the winner’s circle at $33.20.
To Laurel, Md., for Race 3, in which #5 Iywaan (.220 / 3.55 / 4.45) won at $11-even.
The New Orleans opener went to #4 Doctored Deal (.184 / 4.43 / 5.52) at $16.60. In a Race 6 lousy with first-timers, #10 Harbor Springs (.413 / 1.42 / 1.91) won it for the experienceds at $12.20.
Another opener, this one on the Arcadia, Calif., card. #4 Big Coupe (.188 / 4.32 / 5.38) drove into the winner’s circle at $15-even.
