Town, W.Va., #5 Marshall Peanut (.500 Win Prob / 1.00-1 Fair Odds / 1.40-1 Premium Odds) got a leg(ume) up on his rivals at $8.80. In the Etobicoke Int’l. finale, #5 Forever Danish (.160 / 5.25 / 6.50) won it for Copenhagen at $16.10.
Today (Friday) it was Aqueduct, Laurel, Oaklawn, Tampa, Turfway & Woodbine.
From Laurel, Md., #7 Fizbo (.283 / 2.53 / 3.24) was not clowning-around in Race 8, coming home a (pretty) pennywise winner at $12.80.
At Hot Springs, Ark., #5 Play the Trumpet (.323 / 2.10 / 2.72) got down to brass tacks in a win in the opener at $10.40. Then in Race 4, #3 Redfield (.319 / 2.13 / 2.76) was in the black at $29.20; completing your winning $110.80 exacta was #8 Charleston (.384 / 1.60 / 2.13), with the premium price on that comboa (comboa!) being $17.27.
