Aqueduct 8 had an overlay winner in #3 Outlaw Kid (.290 Win Prob / 2.45-1 Fair Odds / 3.14-1 Premium Odds) at $10.20. The exacta with runner-up #8 Gianni Lambo (.193 / 4.18 / 5.22) had a premium price of $39.06; it paid $84-even in real life.
The Churchill opener went to #2 Edge of Glory (.208 / 3.81-1 / 4.77) but it took runner-up #6 Pudge Boy Palace (.175 / 4.71 / 5.86) to make the race valuable via a $104.20 exacta whose premium price was $65.44.
Then in Race 9 there, #5 Curly Jack (.213 / 3.69 / 4.63) paid $23.66 in a valuable victory.
Another opener, this time at Monmouth, saw #4 Bayou Melody (.147 / 5.80 / 8.52) win at $30.20.
Yet another opener, now at Woodbine, had #2 Total Betty (.242 / 3.13 / 3.96) return a $15-even mutuel up top.
Next race there, #6 Souper Sinclair (.496 / 1.02 / 1.42) pay $5.60 for the victory. The daily double on Races 1 & 2 paid $54.10; its premium price was $24-even. As well, the Race 2 exacta with runner-up #3 Fortyfiveseventy (.261 / 2.83 / 3.60) paid $16.40 off a premium price of $13.06.
In Race 5, #11 Hot Cargo (.503 / 0.99 / 1.39) won at $5.10.
