Way back when, it was heartbreaking & soulcrushing to see her end-up with that greaseball Vinnie Barbarino — ugh. Dashed a lot of unspoken hopes, killed a lot of pleasant dreams. On the other hoof, this video transports us to a much more wholesome situation for everyone. RIP, Olivia Newton-John.

Went to Arizona & The Mountain earlier on in the daytime.
Started OK at Arizona, with #3 Avalon King (.305 Win Prob / 2.28-1 Fair Odds / 2.93-1 Premium Odds) winning at $22.20. As well, runner-up #1 Final Final (.168 / 4.95 / 7.33) completed a successful $71.60 exacta whose premium price was $48.81.
Then in Race 6 there, #1 Kat’s Hitman (.179 / 4.59 / 6.82) was a valuable winner at $24.80
If you don’t wait until 90 secs. before post time, you won’t get the full slate of surface-changes and late-scratches on that night’s card, you know. Most other tracks, 30 mins. before the first race and you pretty much have 99 percent of what’s going on, who’s in and who’s out and on what track or course, but not so at The Mountain. You have to wait until Race 2 or so. So that’s we are forced to do. Nice place sometimes. Almost like Swampatoga.
That said, the opener at The Mountain had an overlayed exacta comboa (comboa !) come in via winner #8 Loyalty Spirit (.236 / 3.24 / 4.08) and runner-up #9 Holy Saint (.224 / 3.46 / 4.36) at $82.40; the premium price was $43.73.
Still more than a few races outstanding.
