Two tracks this morning: Belterra (where the weather has been good lately, and the turf has been in use!) and Saratoga (also being visited by good weather right now).
Two strongshots at Belterra, both won, $5.40 and $2.20. Two strongshots at Saratoga, one at 27-1 on the toteboard was nowhere, and the other was bet-down from 12-1 on the morning line and ran fourth. Regrets! Next time!
Two Live Longshot races at Belterra, both won by the prohibitive faves. One Live Longshot race at Swampatoga so far, third-listed Live Longshot won at an unappetizing 7-1 — finicky overlay-gourmets! The second-listed Live Longshot completed the $123.50 exacta; again, not good enough, but maybe enough for yourself. At least the selected race did result in something non-chalky. Hoo-boy. One Live Longshot race remaining at Swampa Springs.
