Sorry. We got bamboozled by the weather. They said it was going to be rainy and damp on the East Coast, and it most certainly was not; indeed, it was the opposite.
We prefer not to run any numbers when we have to make a lot of raceday scratches and changes, particularly off-the-turf switches. We hate it. When the barometric pressure falls and the relative humidity nears 75 percent, we are hypersensitive to an impending downpour out by the Eastern Seaboard or in South Florida or in the landlocked flyover states, and we don’t want to do any handicapping. Regrets!
