Hot temps out West in sunny Southern California, so the Board of Directors decided to open the Executive Swimming Pool yesterday.
Sometimes you just have to go swimming, immerse yourself in the water, submerged and safe from the rest of the world. Yes, Franzke & LA were on the portable bluetooth speaker, connected wirelessly to the mobile telephone, calling the top of the ninth inning of the Phillies’ eighth consecutive victory. But the overall effect was calming: warm water, twilight skies, good, deep rhythmic breathing and stroking. No need to perform, react, impress, be first or be the smartest person in the room. Essence.
All right, all right, ya sensitive laid-back La-La Land lover! Take it easy! Getting out of here early this morning (PDT), so we have no real results, did not get the big-priced opener at The Belmont Park.
