Jai alai right there with the hounds and the harness races in terms of suitable substitutes for the Thoroughbreds. Way back in a photo with the ambulance is Quarter Horse junk. Quarter Horses  < < < < < < < < < Hounds < Jai Alai < Harness < Thoroughbreds. Quarter Horse Racing like the premature ejaculation of parimutuel sports. No need to bother with that junk.
