Whether it was laziness (!), benign neglect (!!), stupidity (!!!), procrastination (!!!!) or sheer dumb luck (!!!!!), we were fortunate (!!!!!!) not to have ever established a presence on that one social-network platform. You know the one. Also, we’d have to say, over lo these many years, that it’s been a net positive to have ignored all the chatter on a certain message board — you know who you are. Grief and aggravation, goodbye! (Really, ‘irritation’ is the right word, but the accepted American-English idiom requires the use of ‘aggravation’.) So, thank you, Yahweh, Allah, Buddha, Krishna, Higher Power & all the rest of the deities for guiding us away so we were not part of those things. Twitter OK, though. Twitter #1 always.
