Venal, yes, But murderous? Murderous! Hoo-boy. Scrub on over to the 1:00-even mark. Not condoning violence, but if they were being taunted, it’s OK. Was the cop beaten with the flagpole doing any taunting? Now what? This was from 2016, by the way. Should have seen it coming. Too late now. Oh, well.
This is like one of those ‘48 Hours’ or ‘Dateline’-type true-crime shows in which two lovers conspire against the third side of the triangle. The planning, the plotting, the skulduggery, the killing, and then the subsequent posturing by hotshot defense attorneys and the overmatched district attorneys. Thankfully this time the killing wasn’t part of the equation. Nonetheless, it will be really juicy to uncover all the parts leading up to the attempted killing.
