Ever go fishing out in the ocean? You pull your catch over the side of the boat. Eventually, the flounders on the deck stop flapping and then start frying. Better pack ’em in ice first, though.

There was one Churchill race selected yesterday. There were three win-overlay wagers, and they were about as successful as the wannabe strongman looking like a real strongman. Truly, when did you ever see the autocrats from N. Korea, Hungary, Turkey, Russia etc. look so ridiculous? Never!
N. B. There were seven selected races on Wednesday. There were 21 (!) win-overlay wagers, and there were two runner-up finishes, at 9-1 and at 51-1. There also was a winner, at $39.20.
