WE POSTED YESTERDAY!
Not really. Instead, was stuck on the Turner Classic Movies yesterday, and the morning movie was Gaslight with Chas. Boyer and the incomparable Ingrid Bergman. As in the climax of that film, The American People (well, at least 76MM of them) should flash the knife at you-know-who before he is led away.
After that was High Society glittering with the all-time genius of Bing Crosby, Francis Albert Sinatra, Louis Armstrong and, of course, the stunning Grace Kelly. Closing out the afternoon was The Unsinkable Molly Brown frantic with the double-threat energy of Debbie Reynolds and the underrated talents of Harv Presnell.
So that was good, nothing overwrought like American Gridiron Throwball or those hyped-up dramas you get from the streaming-media nowadays.
