If you have been with this here Web log for any amount of time, you know we are big fans of playing tennis, or something approximating tennis. But you need to cross-train sometimes, and nothing beats swimming. Look at that calorie burn!
Everything on the tennis court improves after a few days a week of swimming; lung capacity, flexibility, overall physical stamina, core strength, you name it. The midsection starts hollowing-out, the dreaded dad bod recedes. Then there’s the whole meditative aspect of communing with the water; the brain gets a break! So do have a swim soon; it’ll pick you right up!
