Hey, it’s not easy being a failson — and we know this from personal experience! However, it’s even more difficult when you have to keep shilling into middle age for your old man. Most of us failsons just kind of get left alone and do our own thing, not bothering too many people; we take up innocuous pursuits like writing about horseracing or being a gadfly on the game shows or some such. But for this guy in today’s video lede, he has to keep carrying the water for the family in front of millions and millions. Oh, well.

Today:
The Zongo Race Club suggests nothing right now. As failsons, we enjoy playing tennis a few times a week, nice and early, not bothering too many people, certainly not millions, and we do it at the famous public courts here in beautiful downtown Studio City, courts that are home to the superstar A-listers, not like Don Trump Jr. We have encountered, so far, Esai Morales, the late, great Robert Forster, Jill Arrington, Elle Fanning, Terrell Owens, Peter Wentz and — ladies, hold your breath! — the frequently bare-chested Gavin Rossdale. It’s something we have to put up with. So, please check back later for some Zongo Race Club swag in the Comments section. Thank you! Enjoy your day!
No worldwide superstars at the public courts today. However, there was some woman named Phoebe Price — never heard of her! — who was the subject of the paparazzi. Apparently, she has been trying to become a big cinema star for some time now, but it just hasn’t happened. From what we could see, it looks like she was about half a century too late for the peak of the Russ Meyer era, for which she would have been a perfect fit. Pity. But the way she was grunting and groaning with each stroke, it was as though she was filming one of those other type of movies they frequently make in nearby Van Nuys.
Meantime, the Zongo Race Club suggests Canterbury 6, 7, Fairmount 4, 7, Louisiana 5, 6. Thank you!
