Our two favourite teams in action at the Ravine yesterday, and it was the adopted club, your Los Angeles Los Doyers, completing the three-game sweep of your Philalala Phightin’ Phils, 8-nil. Hoo-boy.
You know, for several seasons up to 2019 at Dodger Stadium, whenever the home team got a two-base hit, those unique hexagonal scoreboards would light up with ‘DAILY DOUBLE presented by JEOPARDY!’. Yesterday, that sponsorship was missing, and we felt sad a little. Perhaps all the money that guy is currently winning on the show has cut into the marketing budget for forever. Could be!
