No Lacazette magic, no thanks to Obama or Aubameyang, nae nuthin’. Once more for upcoming 2019-20 season, it’s Europa League and not Champions League fútbol for the Gunners. Not even the participation of the injured Aaron Ramsey would have made any appreciable difference in this one. Bog-standard on the evening. 2/10.
On the other hoof, how ’bout them La-La Land Los Doyers! Go find that bottom of the ninth inning from last night’s game, a 9-8 walkoff win over the New York City Baseball Mets. It was a most satisfying conclusion, especially for Dodgers fans and fans of all other National League East clubs not called the Metropolitans. Fantastic. 10/10.
