Class is permanent, form is temporary…and this is class at the height of its form! Ladies & gentlemen, Mistah Cody Bellinger…BELLINGER!
That swing is something. The days of the one-handed finish are long gone; now we have both hands remaining on the bat all the way through, the elbows-in creating torque and uppercut leverage action, the finish over the opposite shoulder like a two-handed backhand in lawn tennis. The bat-barrel acceleration has no choice but to be supersonic.

Six races, 13 wagers, only one winner, $19.20 in the Emerald opener; also in that race, the opener at Emerald, the runner-up was a win-overlay, and the two-win-overlay perfector, 8-1 over 6-1, paid $117.60, for $2, in a six-horse field; plus, a runner-up at 12-1 in the seventh at Emerald.
