Nat’l. Make Lunch Count Day this time. Lunch? What’s that? This must be one of ’em observances sponsored by a lobbying group, maybe the Assoc. Luncheonette Counters of ’murrika, or the U.S. Chamber of Chompers! Cazart!
Breakfast, too. Never heard of it! Yea, verily, when you are pretty much limited to eating from 4-9 p.m. each day, breakfast and lunch are off the radar. You eat ad libitum when the feast period starts, and usually that’s enough, that one feed; if not, eat more after the big meal, whenever, any time till the end of the window, but not one minute after that.
It may or may not have biochemical effects regarding hormones (insulin, leptin, ghrelin, etc.) and their regulation and such, but it is obvious that it does discipline the body and mind to break the old-timey Western notion of ‘three square meals a day’. (Yooks! That’s a lot eating!) And unlike fad nutrition regimens — grapefruit, cabbage soup! — where the cause-and-effect mechanism is suspect, limiting the feed-window does have an unmistakable, undying purpose: you just eat less; the intake is decreased. It is some bit of work to start, but it becomes second nature soon enough.

Aqueduct 2 (Low-Priced Overlay of the Day)
#5 Creative Style ($5.20, BestLine Fair Odds 1.00-1)
Looked at Aqueduct 1, 6, 7 yesterday. No overlays in the opener, and two overlays apiece in the other two races, for a total of four overlay wagers. One of those was the winner in Race 6, at $15.40. Good enough.
