Surveillance capitalism! Are you yourself for sale? Probably! Then again, so is everyone, most likely. No one escapes the panopticon!
In our own small and mainly unconnected (disconnected?!) corner of the cyberspace (the cyberspace!), we got another direct email solicitation from BIG HORSERACING FORUM (as in BIG FILL-IN-THE-BLANK, such as BIG SODA, BIG POULTRY, BIG ENERGY etc.) about having one of their sponsors in turn post a paid advertisement (pays ad?) over here. We had to turn them down with a frowny-face emoji, as one does in this day & age of postliteracy. No one enjoys pushing away effortless income, but even we (!) could see that such a rejection was probably the proper thing to do. Sometimes we make the next right action, and yet there remain many unaddressed defects of character, many. So, as they say on one side of the ever-raging debate, ‘Thanks, Obama! Thanks, Geo. Soros!’ Allahu akbar.

Fire & ice (well, truly, smoke and snow) leading to already four cancelations in North America today, but Hawthorne is running, even on a yielding turf! Chicagoland, we salute you. Races 1, 5, 6, 7 & 8 lack the consensus option; on the other hoof, there’s a longshot in Race 3 that BestLine has tabbed with a 34.5pc win-probability. How is this possible! Thanks, Obama! Thanks, Geo. Soros. Allhu akbar.
