As threatened, we are back again today with the horseracing — Thoroughbreds only. North America only. Nae Quarters, nae chariots, nae nuthin’. Although if we had to choose between the two, it would be chariots, hopples down. Any track that has hosted a Quarter Horse or Arabian race, that’s a headscratcher right there. That’s almost like a track that doesn’t have a turf course. Très déclassé. If your track has run an Arabian or Quarter Horse race, or if your track does not have a turf course, we are snobs and we look down upon you. Yea, verily, we are SNOBS like that! Yes, Santa Anita ran an Arabian race the other day, and at this we were mildly abashed. So-called Little Saratoga, The Delpark in lovely Stanton, Del., has run Arabians for more than 30 yrs. now. Oh, well. We mark these tracks down a little.
