Tending to the Taverna

Living here in a Blue State — a Coastal Blue State, no less! — pretty much pushed away from the Concept of Country Music, it took all our lives until last night to find about about Jennifer Nettles. Yes, what deprivation, yeah?

Strong voice, good performer, similar to the time at the same amphitheatre a few years ago when Reba McEntire signed-on to play Nellie Forbush in South Pacific. If you have a good voice, you can sing any genre, even ABBA hits, and make it sound OK.
