Arlington (1/0) — Chicago red-light camera settlement worth US$38.75M.

BelTerra (1/0) — Host Reds drained of all color by Ariz., 12-2; Eugenio Suarez’s 2 solo HR were the extent of the Cincy offense.

Canterbury (2/2) — Race 5 was not contentious, but High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads saw the sheen on Charlie Again, Dual Qualifier (92, 96); he had to rally, though, before winning by a clean half-length at $54.20. In Race 6, contentious, only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads kept Mysterious Promise, 84 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis, to themselves; he was up and at ’em all the way around, winning by 2 at $21.60. The natural $2 daily double paid $829. Good work.

Chas. Town (0/0) — Mayor seeks voice in corridor development.

Delpark (2/1) — Race 3 was not contentious, but High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads figured Gold Value, 86 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis, could run to that billing; she went gate-to-wire to win by 1¾ at $29.80. Good work.

Del Mar (2/0) — Visiting Padres beat S.F., 5-2; Cory Spangenberg had a 2-run HR for S.D.

Evangeline (2/2) — Race 1 was contentious among the experienceds, but only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads were quick (!) to befriend My Sharp Pal, best in the field on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis; she went gate-to-wire to win by 7 at $38-even. Race 9 was contentious, but only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads collected on Summer’s Due, 90 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis; he was a stalking-horse throughout before winning by a clean half-length at $20.60. Good work.

Finger (2/1) — The opener was not contentious, but High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads had a good 85 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis on Benny and Alex; he raced tail-to-wire to win by 4 at $24.40. Good work.

Fair Meadows (0/0) — Driver going 100mph just prior to hitting pole, Catoosa police say.

Gulf (3/0) — Palmetto Expwy. on-ramp to I-75 closed because of flooding.

Indiana (2/1) — Race 5 was contentious, and players of all stripes went to Orange Co. to get to Costa Mesa, Dual Qualifier (90, 82); he rallied like he was on the Toll Road to Mission Viejo, winning by 3¾ at $21.20. Good work.

Northlands (1/0) — Edmonton police ‘heavy users’ program set to expand.

PennNat (0/0) — Host Pirates double-up on Milw., 4-2; Chris Stewart went 3-for-3 with a run and an RBI for Pgh.

Presque (0/0) — See PennNat commentary.

Prairie (2/1) — Race 4 was contentious, and debutante Clear Creedence appealed to players of all stripes, Fair Odds of 4-1 and with a connection-line/slashline readout of 13pc/13pc/N/A; she went gate-to-wire to win by 2¾ at $21-even. Good work.
