Monday Boxing: Pickle-Juice Edition

Broiling out here in sunnie Southern California/La-La Land. Broiling. A cloche of heat is keeping the specimens underneath quite uncomfortable, and the server-in-the-sky won’t be lifting it for relief until at least Thursday. Hoo-boy.

That said, we are drinking plenty of fluids studded with electrolytes. As well, to prevent spasming and outright rigor mortis, we are going ahead with the pickle-juice cure. We don’t settle for Vlasic or Claussen, but the brands shown in the snap, the ones with the real fermentation going on, so as to also provide a boon to the gut flora. Proven remedy or puckery placebo? Either way, the stuff works!
