All right, all right, ya Portland-lovers! Take it easy! Voodoo Doughnut has opened down the street at Universal City, and given the temps in the upper 80s here in sunnie Southern California for the next few days, we thought it was as good a time as any to bring out this all-time fave, a real spring, spring-summer song. You’ll be humming it all day long. Voodoo Doughnut comes up from 0:07 to 0:23.

Free ones: Rundown…

Yesterday’s Activity:

Track (Win Mutuels $20+/Gettable)

Chas. Town (1/1) — Contentious amongst the experienceds in Race 4, and players of all stripes were wise to team up with Sophia’s Boy, Fair Odds of 5-1 and a field-best 91 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis; he went gate-to-wire to win by 1¼ at $24-even. Good work.

Delta (0/0) — New science standards approved for La.’s K-12 students.

Fair Grounds (0/0) — Pelicans’s Boogie Cousins fined $50k for inappropriate language towards fans.

Golden Gate (1/½) — Old-School Champeens minced no words with Euphemistic, Fair Odds of 3½-1 in a contentious Race 2; she rallied like the champion she should have been, winning by 1½ at $26.60. Good work.

Gulf (4/1) — Race 6 was contentious, but only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads hoped Dual Qualifier Sugar Dandy (87, 93) would get the candy; he did, in gate-to-wire flavor, winning by 2¾ at $41.40. Good work.

Oaklawn (2/0) — Proposed Ark. highway-funding plan includes fuel tax.

PennNat (1/1) — The finale was contentious amongst the experienceds, and players of all stripes did not have a hard time finding Tough Kennett Man, Fair Odds of 6-1 and good enough on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis; he rallied like the champion he’s on his way to becoming, winning by 3 parts of a length at $24.60. Good work.

Santa Anita (0/0) — Host Kings edge Nashville in OT, 3-2; Jarome Iginla scored his first La-La Land two goals, including the gamewinner.

Turfway (2/0) — Heroin programme with 80pc success rate spreading.
