All right, all right, ya SoCal-haters! Take it easy! Daily high-temps not moving out of the 50s°F through at least Thursday. OK! You win! Relax!

Free ones: Rundown…

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: Santa Anita 7 on the free page. Santa Anita 5 has the comebacking #8 Fantastic Style as the obvious talent; the form and the intent are the question-marks here. Delta 8 is contentious, and longshot #8 Podcast may have some say in the outcome.

Yesterday’s Activity:

Track (Win Mutuels $20+/Gettable)

Aqueduct (1/0) — Visiting Blueshirt Rangers double-up Arizona, 6-3; Matt Puempel had the hat-trick for Nueva Jork.

Chas. Town (1/0) — Rebuilding raises concerns of Harpers Ferry residents.

Delta (1/0) — Rainy weekend ahead; 2-4 in. to fall by Monday.

Fair Grounds (2/1) — The finale was contentious, but only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads could realize Dual Qualifier Adens Dream (99, 88), who raced tail-to-wire to win by 3½ at $37.60. Good work.

Golden Gate (1/1) — Race 7 was contentious, but only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads could tap-in to One Putt Par, a squeaking-by 81 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis; she rallied to win by 3 at $33.20. Good work.

Gulf (3/2) — The opener was not contentious, but High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads could kick it with Boot N Loot, an OK 81 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis; he went gate-to-wire to win by 2½ at $20-even. In Race 2, all comers had the primate-tribute debut-issue (huh?) Harambe, Fair Odds of 3-1 in a contentious race, plus a connection-line/slashline readout of 12pc/24pc/25pc; she won by 1¾ for slain gorillas everywhere, paying $21.20, with the natural daily double returning $248 (for $2). Good work.

Hawthorne (2/0) — Visiting Blackhawks edge Nashville, 3-2; Patrick Kane put the game away for Chicagoland.

PennNat (1/1) — Race 4 was not contentious, but High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads took flight with Almost an Angel, fine 92 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis; she was forwardly placed throughout before winning by 3 parts of a length at $33.40. Good work.

Santa Anita (2/0) — Visiting Kings tripled-up by Edmonton, 3-1; La-La Land goalie Peter Budaj was the game’s Second Star.

Turfway (2/0) — Tolls begin for Ky.-Ind. bridges.
