Such a classless champion! How did he get past the screeners! They are doing a much better job nowadays, certainly.

Yesterday’s Activity:

Track (Win Mutuels $20+/Gettable)

Chas. Town (1/1) — Race 7 was contentious, but only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads had the pneumatic hammers to take on Riveter Gloria, a good-enough 81 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis; she rallied to lead by the eighth-pole and won by 2¼ at $51-even. Good work.

Delta (2/½) — Race 4 was contentious, and this time it was the Old-School Champeens putting the subtlety into Very Understated, Fair Odds of 5-1; she won by a clean head at $22.80. Good work.

Gulf (1/0) — Car burns on Palmetto Expy. in Hialeah.

Mahoning (1/0) — Police seize more chickens in Youngstown.

PennNat (0/0) — Host Flyers edge Wash., D.C., 3-2, in a shootout; Michael Raffl and Claude Giroux were the regulation-time goalscorers for Philalala.

Portland (2/0) — Host Trail Blazers edged by Dallas, 96-95; Portland’s Damian Lillard led all scorers with 29 pts.

Sunland (2/0) — Doña Ana Co. jetport gets certified weather system.

Tampa (3/2) — Race 8 was not contentious, but High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads had a good 85 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis on Laur Net, who rallied like the champion she should have been, winning by 1 at $29.60. Next race there was also not contentious, but High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads were on the record with Dual Qualifier Polygram (98, 86); he went gate-to-wire to win by 1¾ at $26.80, with the natural daily double returning $429.20 (for $2). Good work.

Turfway (1/0) — Mary Ingles Highway Bridge to close on Thursday.

Turf Paradise (1/1) — The opener was not contentious, but High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads expressed their inner moocher via Freeloader Freddie, 86 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis; he rallied like the champion he’s on his way to becoming, winning by 1¾ at $25-straight. Good work.
