Race war is coming? Culture wars have resumed! As many are fond of saying, ‘We live in interesting times’.

In 1994 there was a big earthquake here in La-La Land. In the moments between when the shaking started and when it ended, many fantastical scenarios popped into the mind: does the ceiling collapse, will the Pacific Ocean come crashing through the window, is this how it ends?

Now is the time between the start of the shaking and its end. We’ll see how the fantastical scenarios play out this time.

Free ones: Rundown…

Yesterday’s Activity:

Track (Win Mutuels $20+/Gettable)

Aqueduct (3/1) — Race 4 was contentious, but High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads had a just-good-enough 80 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis on Rooftop View; however, he had to rally like crazy to get there by a clean neck at $24.60. Good work.

Churchill (1/0) — Goshen man faces 5 attempted-murder charges in car shootings.

Calder (0/0) — Tropical bedbug found in Fla. after 60-year absence.

Chas. Town (1/½) — Old-School Champeens had Fair Odds of 6-1 on Poco Loco in a contentious Race 6; she won by 3 parts of a length at $62.40. Good work.

Delta (1/0) — Missing Beauregard Parish man found safe.

Finger (1/1) — Contentious in Race 8, but only High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads had an 84 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis to latch onto on Grosero; he rallied to win by a clean half-length at $31.80. Good work.

Hawthorne (1/1) — Not contentious, Race 2, but Holy Cookie had a field-best 91 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis for the High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads; she had to rally hard, though, to win by a clean half-length at $20.40. Good work.

Mountain (1/0) — 11 W.Va. counties pass Sunday-hunting measure.

Mahoning (1/0) — Boss treats company of truck drivers to lunch after Trump victory.

PennNat (1/0) — 76ers lose in OT at Indiana, 122-115; Rob’t. Covington had 23 for Philalala.

Remington (2/2) — The contentious opener was eligible to all, via Chestnut Johnny, Fair Odds of 3½-1 and an OK 82 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis; he was a stalking-horse throughout, winning by 2¾ at $24.20. In Race 6, not contentious, High-Octane Chancers and Progressive-Minded Eggheads had a fine 97 on Bling’s Ace on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis; she won by 1 at $41.80. Good work.

Woodbine (3/1) — Race 5 was top of the top for debut-issue Itstartswithadrink, Fair Odds of 2-1 and with a connection-line/slashline readout of 16pc/15pc/26pc; he won by a clean neck at $24.10. Good work.
