Good work.

Northlands (2/2) — Neither Race 1 nor Race 5 was contentious; however, in the former, High-Octane Chancers were enjoying Dual Qualifier status on Lasting Spice (95, 85), who won by a clean neck in gate-to-wire fashion at $30.70. In the latter, Too Bad Charlie also was a Dual Qualifier (97, 80), and he won by a clean half-length at $20.30. Good work.

Buried in the ‘Today’s Stakes Pageantry’ section, second-touted Devilwentogeorgia, $95-even to win in Race 4. A modest but qualifying 83 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis. Good work.

Pimlico (1/1) — High-Octane Chancers were going to disregard the noncontentious status of Race 5 while instead focusing on the competitive 83 Hymn’s Sylvia registered on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis. ’Sylvia went gate-to-wire to win by a clean half-length at $42.20. Good work.

Prairie (1/0) — Des Moines police are looking for a man they say knocked out his father’s girlfriend with a package of frozen bratwurst.

Santa Anita (1/1) — Publicly touted Packin Heat, a Dual Qualifier (94, 94) in a contentious Race 9, had to rally but prevailed anyway by a clean half-length at $30.40. Good work.
