Good morning (PDT) now.

Free ones: Rundown…

Belmont 4, 6, 7, 9
Gulfstream Park Proper 8
Santa Anita 1, 3, 5, 6, 8

Pay-side (Weekend/Weekday): Today…

Churchill 2, 3, 5, 6
Golden Gate 1, 2, 5
Louisiana 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
Pimlico 4, 7, 9

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: None today, but here’s another Game 7 for your Big-League Ice-Hockey Tournament now, with the upstart Nashville Predators hoping to be inhospitable guests to the San Jose Sharks.

Yesterday’s Activity:

Track (Win Mutuels $20+/Gettable)

Belmont (2/1) — Old-School Champeens and High-Octane Chancers alike would have been OK in Race 6, won by the debuting Taurine at $22-even. The race was contentious, and Taurine was second-placed on the conventional V6 Betting Line, Fair Odds of 2-1, plus a connection-line readout of 20pc/17pc/27pc — good enough. Good work.

Evangeline (2/1½) — Race 4 had Betting Line top-selection Happy High Porto, Fair Odds of 3-1 in a contentious race, winning straight at $23.60 with no LifeLiner-type support; clearly one for the Old-School Champeens. Later, Race 7 had something for everybody (High-Octane Chancers, Old-School Champeens, Progressive-Minded Eggheads) with the surprise by Majors Intimidator, who was second-ranked on the contentious V6 Betting Line at Fair Odds of 3½-1 and who also had a qualifying 80 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis; the mutuel on ’Majors was $22.40. Good work.

Finger (0/0) — Police say a Canandaigua man swallowed crack cocaine during questioning.

Gulf (1/1) — The race was not contentious, so only High-Octane Chancers were going to be eligible to take the shot against the strong-ish fave. Cowboy’s Princess, five-deep on the Betting Line and without any Fair Odds in a noncontentious race, nonetheless had Dual Qualifier status (89, 83) for your LifeLiner Speed and LifeLiner Spred Column analyses; ’Princess won by 1 at $47.80 up top. Good work.

Indiana (1/1) — Similar scenario to the one posed in the Gulf commentary. That is, the race looked prohibitive for the shark-like 2-5 fave; however, High-Octane Chancers would have also noticed the field-best 92 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis on Sweet Angel Roan, who stayed in touch with the superfavorite before wearing her down at $36-straight. Good work.

Louisiana (2/1½) — Race 5 went to top-of-the-Betting-Line Zarb’s Bell, Fair Odds of 6-1. As in the Race 4 half-a-get at Evangeline, ’Zarb had no LifeLiner backing to speak of; oh, well. In the next race, the sixth, publicly touted Steppin’ Outonher won at $63.60. ’Steppin fetched support via an excellent 93 on the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis in a contentious race. Good work.

Mountain (0/0) — Attorneys for ex-Massey Energy CEO Don Blankenship want an appeals court to delay his entry to prison this week.

Thistle (0/0) — Indians lose in 16 innings to host Houston, 5-3; Jason Kipnis stroked 5 singles in the loss.
