The flavor might be meh, but its aerodynamic properties are a miracle

All right, all right, ya wild Israelites! Take it easy! Recline and enjoy the stories about the murrain and the boils and the frogs during your Pesach seder etc. this evening while you commemorate your Exodus.

Pay-side (Weekend/Weekday): Today…

Woodbine 4, 5, 7

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: Should be OK for #4 Treaty Oak in Evangeline 8.

Yesterday’s Activity:

Track (Win Mutuels $20+/Gettable)

Aqueduct (0/0) — Blueshirt Rangers embarrassed at home by Pittsburgh, 5-nil; King Henrik of Lundqvist shellshocked and yanked from the contest. Hoo-boy.

Chas. Town (0/0) — Mingo Co. Sheriff’s deputies round-up 18 in drug crackdown.

Evangeline (1/0) — Five inmates in the St. Landry Parish Prison earn their equivalency diplomas.

Golden Gate (1/0) — Visiting Warriors, minus Steph Curry, edged by Houston, 97-96; Golden State leads the series, 2-1.

Gulf (1/0) — Marlins beat visiting Wash., D.C., 5-1; Marcell Ozuna had a 3-run homer in the win.

Hawthorne (3/1) — W W Royalty was only 6-1 on the morning line, so no public tout forthcoming — regrets! But all sorts of players were going to hit him: Fair Odds of 3½-1 in a contentious race, a qualifying 86 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis, all good. W W Royalty went all the way to win by 3¼ at $26.80. Good work.

Keeneland (2/1) — Race 5 did not seem contentious, but Favorite Coach came through for the High-Octane Chancers anyway as a Dual Qualifier (82, 95); he pretty much went coast-to-coast, in front by 2¾ at the wire at $33.80 up top. Good work.

Los Alamitos Thoroughbreds (1/1) — Publicly touted Runaway Wildcat, $34-even, was a King of the Nightcap Special, up top on the Betting Line, plus Dual Qualifier status (85, 80), to boot. He won by a clean neck. Good work.

Lone Star (1/0) — Mavs get trounced at home by OKC, 131-102; Thunder lead the series, 2-1.

PennNat (1/½) — Entusiasta took Race 2 at $31.80 as a textbook Old-School Champeen-type play: Fair Odds of 3½-1 in a contentious race, but without any LifeLiner backing. Good work.
