The Epicentre, second night running

One night after Koobay Brian’s Last Stand for 60, the La-La Land Kings will settle for 6 in their column this evening at the arena. Is that a dorsal fin circling in the foreground?

Free ones: Rundown…

Aqueduct 1, 2, 5, 8
Los Alamitos Thoroughbreds 2, 6, 8

Pay-side (Weekend/Weekday): Today…

Golden Gate 5
Hawthorne 7, 8
Keeneland 3, 5, 6, 7, 8
Oaklawn 1, 2, 4, 6, 9

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: Keeneland 8 on the pay-side.

Yesterday’s Activity:

Track (Win Mutuels $20+/Gettable)

Aqueduct (1/1) — Uh-oh. High-Octane Chancers were going to be required to take Race 3, won by You Got It at $32.20. The race did not appear to be contentious, and You Got It was buried toward the bottom of the Betting Line, at low morning-line odds of 6-1. Yet the 80 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis gave the bravehearted some reason for the play. Good work.

Chas. Town (2/1) — Here we go…

https://cynthiapublishing.com/hp_wordpress/2016/04/13/nocturnal-submission-freestanding-edition-213/

We surely jinxed King Henrik of Lundqvist, but on the whole, this was a good takedown for the punters: $45-even win mutuel, $522.80 perfecta, both for $2. As always, hope you had ’em.

Evangeline (1/½) — Race 3 was for the Old-School Champeens now, with third-rated Slideruler, Fair Odds of 6-1 on a contentious Betting Line, getting the upset (without any LifeLiner-style backing) at $26.40. We prefer writing about mutuels than random sports and local-news items. Thank you.

Gulf (0/0) — Well, if we have to dredge up a non-racing sports or news item, at least it should always be for a 0/0 day at the track in question. Visiting Heat lose to Boston, 98-88, and both teams end the season at 48-34. Miami was held to 5 pts. in the third quarter. Hard to do.

Keeneland (0/0) — Lawrenceburg man is accused of starving dog to death because he says the dog was ‘defecating’ in the house.

Mahoning (0/0) — Cavaliers lose season finale to visiting Detroit, 112-110 in OT; Cleveland’s Jordan McRae led all scorers with 36 pts.

Oaklawn (1/0) — Six arrested following Garland Co. drug raid.

PennNat (0/0) — Peng-a-wins open Big-League Ice Hockey Playoffs with 5-2 win over visiting Blueshirt Rangers in The Battle of The Backup Goalies; Patric Hornqvist (not the ‘-qvist’ you thought might star in this game!) had a hat-trick for the winners.

Sunland (1/0) — Doña Ana Co. says it misjudged property line, mistakenly bulldozing portion of woman’s land.

Tampa (2/1) — Same scenario as the Evangeline commentary: Peggy O’Prado wins the 8th at $26.60 as the third-choice 5-1 Fair Odds runner on a contentious Betting Line, no LifeLiner necessary. Good work, Old-School Champeens.

Nocturnal Submission: Sifting through the wreckage…

Thank you. Best wishes. Goodbye.

I may make a call to my Columbian buddies to make a visit to the Lawrenceburg fella!!!! Auburn/GPS is gonna bee “Double Corrupted” tomorrow as he is attending KEE. with HONEYMAN & his cousin “NOISY HART” alias “Cockaroolah” #1 rated Oddsmaker for the Chickinz. The only 2 men in their younger days to have beaten the Mexican Championz in the Tijuana Chicken Derby & lived to tell about it!!!! There was also Bull Fightz and a Concert all for one price. Plus other varied entertainment????. Only time I have seen Noisy intoxicated. I don’t know if Auburn/GPS can get a winner tomorrow but he will see the SKIRTZ!!!!! He is interested in bee–ing Corrupted?????? The Mexican Derby you had to bet with the house, not each other.
