Hoo-boy. This comes as a sucker punch to the solar plexus to our longtime associates Jm. Beam & Jack Dan’ls.

Then again, with a fifth going for a penny shy of a sawbuck, it might have been worth the gamble; the wallet might sustain the damage even if the liver and kidneys and good taste in general protested otherwise. Consistency a little thicker than Bailey’s Irish Glue, sort of like O’Darby’s or Duggans, but with all the spices of the season. OK for sipping, but you probably want to chase it down with some unspiked eggnog.
