W. Va. stalwart #1 Russell Road should be OK in Chas. Town 2. Ditto #3 Stoweshoe in the third. Likewise #5 R C’s Daisyduke in Race 6. Similarly #7 Greenway Court in the seventh. Probably OK for #7 Hear the Chatter in Race 8. For a change, it’s longshot #8 Hidden Canyon in the 10th. Back to the chalk, though, for #1 Sarah Sis in Race 11.

Also a big stakes day at Northlands. #3 Tiny Giant is oxymoronic but altogether noncontradictory in Race 2. Fave-longshot pairing in the seventh: #5 High Dollar Gal, #3 Haythorne Place. All longshot in Race 10: #4 Holler At the Moon.

Penna. Derby day over at Keystone, and #5 Uncle Dave seems best in Race 6. #7 Encryption should be accorded live longshot status in the seventh. #7 Peace and War can win it in Race 9. Wild-open in the 10th: #2 Island Town, #1 War Story, #10 Mr. Z.

Then in Thistle 7, #6 Blazing Bling and #7 River City Girl have upset possibilities.

Yesterday’s Activity: OK things on the free page, courtesy of back-to-back jacks (with a $200-plus daily double attached) at Belmont, and then a $40-something nutskull job at Los Alamitos Daytime. As always, hope you had ’em!
