Otherwise, Belmont 10, Santa Anita 2 on the free page. Pay-side has Churchill 8, 11, Monmouth 10.

Wild-open in Gulfstream 9. Wild-open. #6 She’s Spooky and #5 My Sweet Dove cannot be summarily dismissed.

Jimmie McGill, Esq., might throw some of those fat stacks on #6 Fancy and Flashy in Albuquerque 9.

Another super-contentious affair is Thistle 8, with #9 Mound and #4 Three Socks having sufficient ability to take this at forecast long odds.

Always good to tout a $100-plus win-mutuel on the pay-side. This was in Louisiana 4, the sole-touted Threepeat.

This Threepeat animal was by far the dominant issue on the LifeLiner Early and LifeLiner Pace Column analyses, generating a superior LifeLiner Spread Column analysis number; even the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis had Threepeat tied for second-best. What wasn’t to like?

The odds were to love. From 20-1 on your morning line, Threepeat somehow went off at 10¢ shy of 61-1. At press-time here, no official chart information was available from any reputable source. Probably this horse was free-and-clear the entire way around, but who knows? Maybe there was a DQ or all the other horseys in the gate broke in a tangle and only Threepeat was able to cross the wire intact. Who knows?

What is known is that a $123.80 $2 win mutuel was paid to the backers of the Threepeat.

Another good score came from this one, right here, free of charge.
