U.S. defeats New Zealand, 7-3

All right, all right, ya sportsz fansz! Take it easy! How ’bout all that excellent athletic programming on the TV last night, like the Women’s Tennis and the Women’s Curling? Excellent, excellent displays of talent and reasonable attractiveness. Way-better than junky hoopball. Way.

Women’s tennis & women’s curling > > > > > hoopball for either gender. Tyvm.

Free ones: Rundown…

Aqueduct 2, 3, 8
Gulfstream Park Proper 1, 6, 10
Santa Anita 7

Pay-side (Weekend/Weekday): Today…

Fair Grounds 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9
Golden Gate 4, 5
Hawthorne 6
Laurel 1, 4, 5, 6
Oaklawn 1, 7
Tampa 4, 6, 8, 10
Turfway 5, 7, 8, 9

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: None today, but the Women’s Semifinals of the Indian Wellsz Lawn Tennis take place today, along with last two Men’s Quarterfinals. Also, as Honorary Hokie Hokie Hokie Hi’s, will be rooting for Belmont today. Also pulling hard for Robt. Morris, obviously.

Yesterday’s Activity: How ’bout dem upsetsz! Relax, ya Ga. State loversz! Sit down, Ala.-Birmingham supportersz! Yooklah Pyramid Westsiders, stand back! We talkin’ upsetsz here! Upsetsz! We talkin’ upsetsz!

Like over at the Fair Grounds in New Orleans in the Conglomeration of Parishes known as Luzianne. In Race 3, Bonkersmate Babefromthegitgo put the shock on the world.

Babefromthegitgo, 12-1 on your morning line, was dead bottom of your conventional V6 Betting Line in a contentious lineup. But she was one of only two LifeLiner Speed Column Analysis qualifiers in the field, so she got some consideration, especially at real-life odds of 23-1.

Babefromthegitgo won and paid a buck shy of half a hundred up top.

Later on in the card, five horseys were touted in the finale, won by top-touted Stormdriver. Stormdriver was another disregarded on the conventional Betting Line, no Fair Odds in a contentious reckoning. However, the field was jam-packed with LifeLiner Speed Column Analysis qualifiers, one of them being the great Stormdriver.

Stormdriver won and paid $21.80-straight.

Over at the Laurel, Race 8 went to top-touted Loewenherz, $24.80.

Honourable Mention (like Harvard v. North Carolina — used to like North Carolina as the natural good-guy antidote to the evil Doris Duke Jr. Univ.; however, since the Roy Williamsz academic scandal broke, we have had to go sour on the Chapel Hill…regretsz!): Second Bonkersmate Mr. Handsome, 18-1 in Race 7 at Oaklawn, was best of the rest, losing only to the 2-1 fave. The top three positions were OK for the LifeLiners, and the saver perfector paid $127, and the insurance trizacta paid $380 (for $1).

As always, hope you had ’em.
