Today’s Stakes Pageantry: #1 Slumber has the talent, so it’s mainly the layoff standing in her way in Belmont 9.

#5 Street Icon is our preference in Santa Anita 6.

On the pay-side it’s Keeneland 8 and Woodbine 6, 8, 9.

Looks wild-open in Hastings 6, and #7 Hopeseeker and #1 Dontmesswithkitten are not out of it.

Yesterday’s Activity: Some fine touting at Keeneland yesterday, specifically in the three-race sequence spanning the fifth, sixth and seventh.

In Race 5, it took six touted horseys to get to the winner, Holy Highway. Holy Highway, 20-1 on your morning line, was fifth-best on your conventional V6 Betting Line, no assigned Fair Odds, but nonetheless worthy of consideration via his excellent 97 in the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis. Holy Highway won by a clean neck and paid $66-even, straight.

In Race 6, sole-touted Toni’s Hollyday, 8-1 on your morning-line, came through by a clean nose at $21-even. Toni’s Hollyday, absolute dead-last on your conventional V6 Betting Line, nonetheless qualified for consideration based on her top-ranked 90 in the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis. She ran to her complete LifeLiner array of 64-70-90 to make up big ground in the lane.

The daily double in Races 5 and 6, Holy Highway ($66) and Toni’s Hollyday ($21), paid $1,098.40. The way the touting was presented, it was a 6 x 1 crisscross, 12 bucks in, $1,098.40 back in.

In Race 7, Bonkersmate Sweet Nkosi, 30-1 on your morning line, was another rallying winner, this time by half a length at $77.60 up top. Mark ’em up!

Sweet Nkosi, next-to-bottom on your conventional V6 Betting Line, nonetheless qualified for consideration based on her competitive 83 in the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis.

The daily double in Races 6 and 7, Toni’s Hollyday ($21) and Sweet Nkosi ($77.60), paid $680.80. The way the touting was presented, it was the sole-touted Toni’s Hollyday and the two-horse tandem of the winning Sweet Nkosi and top-touted Beau Ravelle. Two races, three horseys, a 1 x 2 daily double crisscross, four bucks in, $680.80 back in. Hoo-boy.

The pick 3 in Races 6, 7 and 8, Holy Highway ($66), Toni’s Hollyday ($21), Sweet Nkosi ($77.60), paid $29,654.60. The way the touting was presented, it was a 6 x 1 x 2 pick 3 matrix, 12 combos in, 24 bucks in, $29,654.60 back in.

Once-in-a-lifetime, three-race touting sequence there, absolutely. Time to retire!

For good measure, top-touted Taris won Keeneland 9 at $16, with Second Bonkersmate Sweet Whiskey completing your winning $154 Bonkers Exacta Box.
