Halloa, fans of Thoroughbred horseracing in North America. Welcome!

Free ones: Rundown…

Belmont 4, 8, 10
Calder 5, 6, 8, 10
Santa Anita 6, 7, 9

Pay-side: Today…

BelTerra 8
Delpark 5
Golden Gate 6, 7, 9
Hawthorne 2, 6, 7, 8, 9
Keeneland 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
Laurel 5, 9
Meadowlands 1, 5, 6
Retama 3, 4, 6, 8
Remington 4, 5
Turf Paradise 4, 7
Woodbine 3, 4, 6, 7, 8

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: Belmont 4, 8, 10 on the free page. On the pay-side it’s a jam-packed Keeneland 9, Laurel 5, 9, Retama 8, Turf Paradise 7, Woodbine 8.

Live fourth-choice on the morning line in Belmont 7: #4 Flipcup. In the ninth there, going for the cold-puncher’s box of #10 Discreet Marq, #9 Effie Trinket.

#8 Morning Fix should be able to do it without resorting to the latter half of her name in Golden Gate 8.

Another cold-puncher’s comboa (comboa!) in Laurel 8: #10 Rocky Policy, #2 Miss Bullistic. However, it’s all chalk in the 10th via the obvious #3 Eighttofasttocatch.

Looks open in Retama 6, but #3 Expect Royalty is one of ’em Triple Threat Horseys. Now what?

Probably going to be OK for #3 Lady Contender in Albuquerque 9.

All right, all right, ya W. Va.-loversz! Big, big night at your Chas. Town. Big. Race 1 has the nonfavoured cold-puncher’s box of #10 My Sister Caro, #7 Little Enemy. Race 3 singles-out #1 Hear the Chatter, and Race 4 does likewise via #8 Greenway Court. Race 5 is probably #5 In the Fairway’s, and Race 6 seems at the mercy of #3 Dimples. The top two morning-line faves appear too strong in Race 7: #5 Pocket Gift, #7 Chrome Mine. #5 Down Town Allen should do OK in Race 8, but perhaps the race is more open than that; hard to say. Race 9 also comes across as contentious, and the longshots #6 Golden Set and #9 Fred High are in the mix.

OK. Exhale. Exhale some of that crisp mountain air — or is it sooty, black-lung coal dust. Either way, it’s West Virginia all night long. Too much horseys. Sometimes.

Yesterday’s Activity: Check the message here for scores from Golden Gate and Remington. Tyvm.
