Who by Racing Commission Omission: Suffolk Downs, not inscribed in the Book of Life for your 5775. R.I.P.

There’s another track we’ll never visit again, just like Garden State, (original) Meadowlands, Jefferson Downs, Bay Meadows, Prescott (!), Fairplex Pomona (?), HollyPark (‽). Many more on the way, certainly. Enjoy ’em while they’re here!

Free ones: Rundown…

Belmont 2, 3, 4, 7
Gulf 6, 7, 8, 11, 12
Santa Anita 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10

Pay-side:

BelTerra 3, 6, 8
Delpark 2, 5, 6
Hawthorne 5, 7, 8
Keeneland 4, 7, 10
Laurel 3, 6, 7, 9
Meadowlands 1, 4, 6
Retama 2, 5, 7, 8, 9
Remington 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8
Suffolk 5, 6, 7, 8
Woodbine 4, 6

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: Belmont 4, Gulf 7, 8, 11, Santa Anita 7, 9 on the free page.

On the pay-side it’s Keeneland 7.

Tiptoeing around the morning-line fave in Santa Anita 4 to prefer #4 Stopshoppingdebbie, #6 My Happy Face.

Crazy flyer in Keeneland 5 via #2 Choctaw Chuck. In the sixth there, it’s #3 R Free Roll who should do it. Race 8 has a single in #7 Conquest Tsunami. Finally, we never learn, and Wise Dan is our 21st-century version of Holy Bull — we won’t beat him until he can no longer run; nontheless, going for #8 Seek Again in the ninth.

Woodbine 8 contains the favourite-third-choice duo of #1 Alpha Bettor, #4 Boisterous.

Over to Albuquerque now for the favourite-sixth-choice pairing of #3 Thunder Agard, #5 Playin Tough in the ninth.

Wild-open in Finger 5 for #4 Little Rocket, #3 Capella Dancer. In the sixth, omitting the fave entirely — you pick the rest. And hoping for #4 Dunn Listening to upset the seventh.

Big stakes activity in Indiana now. Race 1 finds #2 Elegant Model in with a chance. Same goes for the outrageous #7 Baroness Rose in the fourth. Crazy in the fifth, too, with #10 Victor Jara a potential upsetter. Race 8 uncovers a Triple Threat Horsey at 6-1 on your morning line: #5 Joy Boy. Two live longshots are #11 Midnight Beauty and #7 My Merry Way in the ninth. Same in the 10th via #8 Just Call Kenny, #5 East Hall.

Exhale. Too much horseys. Sometimes.

Yesterday’s Activity: How ’bout that Missouri baseball! Doin’ it for I-70.
