Hey, how ya’ doin’ over there?

Free ones: Rundown…

Belmont 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10
Gulf 4, 6, 8, 9
Los Alamitos Thoroughbreds 2, 3, 7

Pay-side: Today…

Arlington 4, 9
BelTerra 2, 4, 7
Churchill 4, 7, 10
Delpark 8
Louisiana 1, 3, 5, 7, 8
Laurel 3, 6, 9, 10
Monmouth 4, 8
Retama 1, 2, 5, 6, 7
Remington 6, 7
Woodbine 5, 9, 10

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: Hard to deny #6 Seeking the Sherif in Los Alamitos Thoroughbreds (LRC) 8. Same goes for #4 Pender Harbour in Woodbine 8.

Assiniboia 7 has #3 Drink M. Pretty in with a longshot hope.

Big twi-night 10-header stakes card at Chas. Town — huge. In Race 2, #9 My Sister Caro gets the nod. In Race 4, #3 Flirting Song is a contender. In Race 5, #5 Lamontagne deserves favouritism; likewise #4 Greenway Court in the seventh. In Race 8, we tiptoe around the morning-line fave and prefer #2 Dimples, #6 Chrome Mine. #6 Smash and Grab can do just that at nice odds in the ninth. To end added-money activity, a four-horse doozie in the 11th: #1 Stormy Novel, #6 Pixie Dust, #5 Honey’s Ryan, #4 Executive Allure.

Also big doings at Northlands, and in Race 6, #9 Ginger Smash has the bona fides. Same goes for #2 R Valentino in the seventh. And in the 10th, #6 Pick a Prize is not out of it.

Finally, it’s the Greatest Day of Thoroughbred Racing in Penna. History, and they need star power from California to make it happen. Phillie! Keystone! In the ninth, #11 Starry Moon has a shot. #8 Untapable is the obvious horsey in the 11th. And in the headliner 12th, #2 Candy Boy is the upset candidate, though your two standout runners, also figure.

Yesterday’s Activity: How ’bout that Roger Goodell? If Bashar al-Assad can hunker down and ride out the tide after all these years, the fair-haired Commish should have absolutely no problem whatsoever in the coming months. It is hard seeing his goal-line stand being breached by the rush of popular unrest. The social-media hordes will have to settle for a field-goal attempt. The Big-League American Gridiron Throwball, calling plays from the box that is its Corporate Fortress, blocking and tackling all potential opponents with condescending ease. Not even the Four Horsemen could get past this. The Shield always winsz. Always. The Shield is BIGGER THAN ALL OF US.
