Beaten out by a dirty ribbon. His Honey didn’t beat me, I had the best HONEY by far. G’Ville got blue ribbons in 3 classed where there was VERY LITTLE & I mean VERY little competition. The WAX BLOCK> The cleanest melted wax poured in some kinda mold. A Blue Ribbon in the Beekeeping Gadget Class. and a Blue Ribbon in the GIFT BASKET class which I will give him CREDIT FOR??? Both the Honey’s you received win BLUES & the light Honey was by far the best on the shelves, I had an entry similar to the COMB HONEY you have that ran Place. I had 2 other entries I didn’t take :COMB HONEY} I melted the comb, It shrunk and was NO GOOD. Also a Win in the DARK AMBER CLASS. I fed a hive of BEEZ nothing other than PEPSI COLA SYRUP. That honey was black as the night. Oh well I’ll have ribbons on the table at the DANIEL BOONE PIONEER FESTIVAL in Winchester, KY August 30 & 31. Two Mi. from my home.
