Apocalypse Now: Inglewood. R.I.P, Hollypark. R.I.H., BetFail.

Amazing. The last day ever, they could do something for all their longtime fansz in the ’hood…nope! Full-boat prices all day long. You’d think they’d give up a little of the HUGE profit they’re making on the sale, as a way of saying thank you to all the citizens…but no. Thanks a lot, BetFail. Kill a venerable track rooted in Turf History just so all those haircuts on your TV channel can walk. We hope all the hardy citizens of South Central shun your TV channel and go over to the HRTV. HRTV #1 alwayszzzz. Frank Stronach would not have made this shortsighted move. Never. Frank Stronach answers only to himself. BetFail should be the one to die. Time for BetFail to go away. Tyvm.

We should walk around the track apron with signs like: ‘BetFail Killed HollyPark’, ‘HRTV #1 Alwayszzz’, ‘Shoot Lo Duca’. That last one would have a crude sketch of a syringe and hypodermic needle.

Farewell, Hollywood Park. We shall ignore your untimely assassination by BetFail. We shall remember only the good times; even losing days would be construed as good times, given that at least there was a place to play there in Inglewood. Now, nothing, zero, nada, zip.
