Chalk #2 Ami’s Holiday shows much talent in WO 8, the Display.

Yesterday’s Activity: On the pay-side, two $30-horseys, a $50-horsey and a $100-horsey.

Over at Turfway, First Bonkersmate Dreamin Big realized the upset in Race 8. Sent off at 17-1 from a morning line of 20-1, Dreamin Big was disregarded by the Betting Line but in with a chance on the LifeLiner Speed Column: 82. He closed like the champion he is, winning by 3 at $37.40.

Over at Tampa, top-touted Merry Merry Bee came through in the ninth. At 15-1 on the morning line, Merry Merry Bee was your lone LifeLiner Speed Column qualifier in the race: 86. She ran to that quality to win by 2¼ lengths at $38-even.

Over at Golden Gate, Occupy Vancouver took the fifth at an unimpeachable 24½-1, returning $51-even for her half-length win. Occupy Vancouver was the top Betting Line horse, Fair Odds of 3-1, and third-best on LifeLiner Speed, a qualifying 81 there. The 2½-1 public second-choice, top on LifeLiner Speed, completed the exacta, which paid $226, for $2.

The triple-digit-mutuel winner came at Fair Grounds, in Race 11, the final race on the card there. And you know what that means. Altogether now: “A KING OF THE NETCAPPER BULLIESZ SPECIAL”, Count Floyd! Oooh! Very scary!

The name of that New Orleans toteboard-exploder was H M Rising, Second Bonkersmate of four horseys listed. The interesting thing about this race — and we’ve seen this a few times in our travels — was that none of the horseys could register better than the high-60s in the LifeLiner Speed Column. Yow! A true chaos race. Let the lotto ballsz bounce around the hopper!

In this case, H M Rising, 20-1 on the morning line and with the top LifeLiner Speed Column score in the field (69!), might have had some mild edge on the rest of the woeful experienceds, but at 49-1, why not? H M Rising won by 1¾ to pay one crisp Benjamin for each Thos. Jefferson risked. The 2-1 firster fave, connection line of 14pc/14pc/19pc, completed a $388 exacta.
