AP 10, Del 10 & 11, KD 5 & 6, and WO 7 & 9 on the pay-side.

In Bel 9, the Grade I Garden City (Adelphi U., represent!), #10 Watsdachances is not without some.

Longshot stab in Gulf 7 via #6 Grande Shores.

A 4-1 morning-line fave who looks legit? It’s Triple Threat Horsey #2 Coalport assuming that position in KD 8.

Uh-oh. A Colonial Penn Stakes Double Stumper in Minnehaha 7: #4 Breezy Point, #8 Careless Hunter. Good race.

Marquis 8, the Sask. Derby, has #8 Lawyer Laurie with a strong case. Better call Ned Reldem, Esq.

Yesterday’s Activity: A good yontiff and an easy fast for Ned Reldem, Esq., and all our other Hebrew brothers and sisters.

As always, Welcome to The Home of The Runner-Up Finish, this time led by Oogeley Eye in Race 8 at Churchill. Oogeley Eye (il malocchio in the eye-talian) was a first-time starter at 8-1 on the morning line and 20¢ shy of 30-1 on the toteboard. Of course your winner was the 20¢-to-$1 Triple Threat Horsey, and the minnow saver perfecta paid $21.20. And this was with the seventh-choice in the public wagering in a 10-horse field! Racing is a hard dollar.

Top-touted Ocean Bertie did get a win in the next race there, $13.20 up top. Ocean Bertie was 8-1 on the morning line and pretty much ran to his LifeLiner array (91-99-91) in a gate-to-wire score.

Another nearly-was in the finale at Remington, via top-touted Black Halo. Black Halo was 15-1 on the morning line and 21-1 in real life.

Top winner on your day was a King of the NetCapper Bulliesz in the last at Woodbine, courtesy of Bonkersmate Seanaieh. Seanaieh was 10-1 on the morning line and went off at nearly that, at 9½-1.
