Hell, Seizures!

Warning: Flash photography!

Free ones: Rundown…

Belmont 4, 5, 7, 10
Calder / Gulf Calder 8, Gulf 3, Gulf 5, Gulf 9
Short-Segment Barretts (a k a Fairplex Park née Pomona Fair) 7

Pay-side: Today…

Arlington 5, 6, 9, 10
Churchill 1, 5, 9, 10, 11
Kentucky 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 (sorry, Race 9-loversz!)
Louisiana 5, 6, 8
Monmouth 4, 8
Remington 3, 5, 6
Woodbine 3, 5, 7, 10

Kentucky Downs, boyszzz! Dueling Groundsz, boyszzz! Always a random exercise. Hitting any race on the card should pay for many sins. You will never forget fat Luke Crimeboss the departed announcer buzzing adenoidally, “And they hit the crest of the rise…”

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: AP 9, CD 9, KD 7 & 8, LaD 5 & 8 all on the pay-side.

Uh-oh. Vaunted Triple Threat Horsey status assigned to #4 Solitary Ranger in AP 7, the Grade III Arl-Wash Futurity. Likewise #1 Boisterous in Bel 8, the Grade II Bowling Green.

Jeez-a-loo, same principle applies to #3 Milam in CD 6, the Grade II Pocahontas. Also #3 Rise Up in CD 7, the Grade III Iroquois.

Open in Race 8 at Churchill, though, and #2 Amie’s Dini is not out of it.

More Triple Threat activity in KD 9, seemingly the lone spot of sanity on an otherwise wild card: #10 Midnight Music.

Louisiana 7 has the Triple Threat Horsey #6 Artemus Kitten going on. That’s also applicable to #4 Major Marvel in the 10th.

But we try for a nonfavored action duo in the Bossier City headliner, the Grade II Super Duper, Sponsored by Dannie Marino & the Marks Bros. #6 Cameo Appearance and #5 Ruler of Love are OK in Race 11.

#2 Strut the Course looks quite capable of just that in WO 8, the La Prevoyante.

EvD 9 has #7 Nitap as a live third-choice on the morning line.

Chalk in MD 4: #7 Mr. Kalypso.

Tiptoeing around the fave in NP 8 via #4 Dougs Buddy, #5 Ready Racer, #6 Boomtown Brat.

Keystone 7 is good for #5 Winchill. Next race is a famously contentious Keystone 5f turf sprint, and #1 Closing Vision and #2 El Seventyseven are just as good as any of the others. Then in Race 10, time to crazy with #8 Stolen Dance and #7 Ask Me Anything.

OK. Exhale. Too much horseys. Sometimes.

Yesterday’s Activity: With a today like today, there’s no time for yesterday. Some Buddhist guy likely will co-opt this and embroider it on his bell pillow.
